The NBA Draft is upon us. For me, that means being glued to twitter and basketball rumors websites to track all the potential storylines on draft night and seeking out as many mock drafts as possible. Yes, I’m a bit of a nerd.
On Sunday the NBA issued 10 preliminary invitations to its green room for Thursday’s 2013 NBA Draft. The league typically has between 13 and 15 players on hand during the draft, so there could be more invitations forthcoming.
It’s easy to write off this season simply as a disappointment, but these Hoosiers deserve far more credit than many people are giving them. I’ll tell you why.
This college basketball season there has been a constant carousel at the top of the rankings, and there has been no clear-cut, consensus favorite for best team in the country. As for the best player in men’s college basketball? I do know the answer to that one: Michigan’s Trey Burke.
