The 2014 NFL Draft is just two weeks away and teams are making their final preparations for the big day. Free agency is largely behind us and squads are basically set heading into the draft.
With that in mind, I’ve compiled the needs of each of the NFL’s 32 teams as we approach the draft.
Some teams have fared better than others over the first week of the free agency period, so here’s a look at the winners and losers from the past week.
The mainstream media celebrated the end of the Bowl Championship Series after the Florida State Seminoles’ dramatic 34-31 victory over Auburn.
Dan Wetzel and Jeff Passan will finally get their wish in 2014 as college football will debut a new playoff system.
Alex Smith had a wildly successful first season as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. He led the team to an 11-5 record and a postseason berth after a 2-14 season in 2012. Combined with new head coach Andy Reid, Smith completely remade Kansas City’s offense into a dangerous unit. And now, the Chiefs apparently want to make sure he’s around longer.
It is time to pick ‘em pal! Four games, four predictions. Time to make up for an awful end of my predicting season, although I went 6-0-1 against the number in college bowl games played on Jan. 1 and 2.
