Toledo 20, Western Michigan 19 (OT)
No wild week of college football would be complete without some craziness from the MAC.
The Rockets and Broncos were locked in a tight battle all afternoon in Kalamazoo, and Western Michigan kicker Andrew Haldeman hitting a 33-yard field goal with 1:11 remaining to give his team a 13-10 lead. However, the Rockets drove all the way down the field and Jeremiah Detmer made a 37-yarder as time expired to force overtime. After Toledo scored a touchdown to open overtime, the Broncos answered with Zach Terrell finding Darius Phillips on a 20-yard touchdown strike. But Haldeman missed the ensuing extra point, and the Rockets won after never leading in regulation.
