6. Knowshon Moreno, Miami Dolphins
Moreno topped the 1,000-yard plateau last season and added 10 touchdowns to boot, but that was in Denver, and he’s not taking handoffs from Peyton Manning anymore. Moreno cashed in after breaking out in 2013, but the sailing won’t be as smooth with Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins. The name might look enticing on the draft board, but you’ve got to remember he’s not in the Mile High City any more.
Moreno will be competing for carries with both Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas, two guys the Dolphins desperately want to work out. Thomas may wind up being cut, but Miller looks like he has the potential of a starting running back after rushing for 709 yards last season. If he steps up, Moreno will be lost in the shuffle.
