8. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
It’s hard to put a guy like Fitzgerald on this list, but he’s got to wind down eventually. Fitzgerald had a monster 2011 with 1,411 yards and 17.6 yards per catch, but in the two seasons since, he’s averaged 876 yards per year and just 11.5 yards per catch.
Last season Fitzgerald hauled in 82 receptions for 954 yards and 10 touchdowns, but teammate Michael Floyd stepped up to steal away a lot of big plays. Floyd actually had more yards than Fitzgerald (1,041) and averaged 16.0 yards per reception.
A resurgence is certainly possible, but Fitzgerald is entering his age-31 season with an aging Carson Palmer as his quarterback. Keep that in mind.
