A dozen managers on MLB’s 2014 hot seat

11. Don Mattingly, Los Angeles Dodgers

Three months from now, I wouldn’t be surprised if we are talking about the 2014 World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. I would take my chances with any team opening up a playoff series with Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke on the mound.¬†Which is why Donnie Baseball remains on the hot seat, since the expectations for the Dodgers are nothing short of breaking a 26-year pennant drought.

Also part of the job description involves being babysitter for Yasiel Puig. With a $235 million payroll ownership could opt for a change if L.A. implodes down the stretch or early in the playoffs.
