[tps_header]2. San Francisco 49ers linebackers[/tps_header]
Navorro Bowman will likely miss a good chunk of the 2014 season after tearing the ACL and MCL in his left knee in last season’s playoffs, but the 49ers linebackers are still the best in the business. Bowman has been a First-Team All-Pro for three-straight seasons and Patrick Willis is near the top of any discussion about the NFL’s best linebacker. Willis has been to seven Pro Bowls and has been a AP All-Pro six times.
San Francisco added a pair of productive college linebackers in the 2014 NFL Draft by selecting Chris Borland and Shayne Skov to help round out the middle line of defense with veterans Ahmad Brooks, Michael Wilhoite and Nick Moody.
Aldon Smith’s future is up in the air, as he is facing a litany of charges with sentencing due in July, but any production the 49ers would hypothetically get from the troubled former All-Pro would only be an added bonus.
