[tps_header]San Francisco 49ers[/tps_header]
Needs: CB, C, WR, DL
The 49ers lost both Tarell Brown and Carlos Rodgers to the Raiders in free agency and didn’t do much to replace them. Luckily, San Francisco has six of the first 100 picks and can fill a lot of holes quickly. The team’s second-biggest hole is center, and they don’t even have a true pivot man on the roster (I’m not sold on Daniel Kilgore as a center). With the 30th pick in the first round the 49ers could address the need at corner, then get one of the top centers in the class with one of their second-round picks.
This draft has a lot of solid options at receiver and along the defensive line, so San Francisco should be able to address depth needs at those positions before the third round of the draft is even over. Cornerback and center are the big needs though and they must be the early focus.
UPDATE: The trade that netted them Stevie Johnson from the Bills really negated the need to get a wide receiver. So that has been addressed.
