[tps_header]New York Jets[/tps_header]
Needs: WR, CB, TE, LB
The Jets have had the NFL’s worst receiving corps for years now and it’s far past time for an upgrade. Stephen Hill may have been the NFL’s worst starting receiver last year, and Jeremy Kerley wasn’t far behind. The addition of Eric Decker will help, but he’s more of a great No. 2 guy than a good No. 1 guy. At No. 18 the Jets have to take the best wideout available if they ever hope to develop quarterback Geno Smith.
Marqise Lee or Brandin Cooks could be good fits at No. 18, then New York has to get busy adding a tight end and at least one cornerback. The team is woefully thin in both areas. I’d say the Jets should add some offensive line depth, but with other needs (including linebacker) that may have to wait a year.
No. 18 – Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
No. 49 – Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech
No. 80 – Dexter McDougle, CB, Maryland
Updated needs: WR, LB
