Needs: S, C/G, OLB, WR
The Colts sent their first-rounder in this draft to the Browns in exchange for Trent Richardson and have to be experiencing major buyer’s remorse for that move. Meanwhile, Antoine Bethea is gone and he left a gigantic hole at safety. On top of that, the interior of the offensive line is a mess. The team’s first pick will come at No. 59 and they won’t pick again until the 90th selection.
The Colts need a lot of help but may not be able to get it from this draft. Along with the dire needs at safety and along the offensive line, they need depth at outside linebacker. The receiving corps could also use a boost. Reggie Wayne is coming back from ACL surgery, I’m not sure Hakeem Nicks will do much and that will leave T.Y. Hilton without a proper complement.
The team’s lack of a first-round pick this year could come back to haunt it.
