Tony Gwynn with the San Diego Padres, Kobe Bryant with the Lakers, Tom Brady with the New England Patriots. There are few legends in any sport these days whom spend their entire careers at one address.

Gerrard broke in as an 18-year old in 1998 and has been in a LFC kit ever since. He has made 472 appearances with the Reds and 109 and counting with the England national side.

It would be fitting for the local Merseyside product to cap his career with a Premier League title.
