With 2.74 goals per game, Liverpool is on pace to be the top scoring title team ever. However, with an average of 1.26 goals conceded, the Reds would go down conceding the most goals of any champion.

They aren’t sexy, but clean sheets and 1-0 and 2-0 wins are the backbone of championships. LFC typically storms to quick multi-goal leads, but has had to hang on for dear life in a pair of recent games, including at 17th place Norwich City.

The defensive midfield has been a concern and the team has won 1-0 games on just three occasions. In the final weeks, the back line cannot afford to fail.
