Caris LeVert, guard
2013-14 stat line: 12.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.9 apg
2014-15 outlook: LeVert took major strides this past season, and was one of the most improved players in college basketball. LeVert improved from averaging 2.3 points per game to 12.9 points per game as a sophomore. He fit in nicely with a team that boasted three NBA Draft early-entrants and was still able to put up impressive numbers.
LeVert will take on a new role next season, as he will be one of the main leaders and the primary scoring threat for Michigan. He drastically improved his game last season, but making the transition from “a guy” to “the guy” can be a major thing to overcome. Still, LeVert has the talent to be a true leader and a quality guard in the Big Ten next season. If he continues to make huge strides, the Wolverines will remain atop the conference standings and LeVert could be a first-team All-Big Ten selection.
