Dez Wells, guard/forward
2013-14 stat line: 14.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.2 apg
2014-15 outlook: Wells was a durable, effective guard for Maryland during the 2013-14 season, leading the team in scoring for the second straight year, while posting respectable numbers in the assist and rebound categories as well. He also had a tendency to turn the ball over too much, leading to some of Maryland’s struggles.
Wells averaged more turnovers than assists last season, a statistic that is troubling for a guy who rotates at one of the guard positions on occasion. With everything else sound, if Wells can keep his turnover-issue in check, he will be poised for another strong season for the Terrapins.
