[tps_header]11. A.C. Leonard, TE, Tennessee State[/tps_header]
Leonard went to Florida out of high school but was suspended in 2012 after being charged with misdemeanor battery (he pled no contest). He transferred to Tennessee State in July of that year and wasn’t the most well-liked player on the team when he arrived. But if a team believes he has grown up, it could be getting a steal in this physical specimen who can flat-out make plays.
At 6-2 and 252 pounds Leonard has good size for a tight end to go along with excellent top-end speed (4.50 40 at the combine). He has excellent ball skills, can make big plays and is getting better at working for separation. The problems with Leonard are all in his head. If he can overcome himself, mature and be motivated he should have a long NFL career.
