[tps_header]4. Dakota Dozier, OL, Furman[/tps_header]
Dozier is another left tackle who will probably move inside in the NFL but that move will likely help his draft stock. He is a stout 6-4 and 313 pounds, and has all the necessary measureables to be a solid interior lineman. He has no character red flags and was relatively durable at Furman.
Dozier is a straight mauler, that’s his strength. He has a nasty streak and doesn’t let up on his opponents. His blocking skills, both in pass protection and in the running game, need refinement, but he’s a guy who just goes after defenders and punishes them. That’s something that cannot be taught, while proper technique is. He’ll need some developing but don’t be surprised if he finds himself as a solid starter within a few years.
