Regarding Sidney Rice, we’ll know more Saturday. Minnesota will either activate him from the PUP list and he’ll play this week or sometime after, or he’ll be out for the year. Right now there is no telling, so don’t count on Rice yet. And if you own him but Vincent Jackson is available in your league, make that swap right now.
For the first week in a long time, there is no legitimate concern about Percy Harvin missing Sunday’s game. Sure, his ankle is still sore, and he’s not practicing in full, but that’s par for the course for Harvin. With nothing new to concern us, he appears to safe to play in Week 11.
Joseph Addai is back practicing on a limited basis for the Colts. His status for Week 11 is still day-to-day. Donald Brown and Javarris James are both healthy. My expectation would be that even if Addai plays he’ll split carries with these two. Add in the fact that New England is a team you beat through the air, and the Colts’ running back quagmire is one to stay away from.
Austin Collie was originally expected to play in Week 11, and he still might, but there are conflicting reports regarding what he did Saturday. Here it says he practiced in full on Thursday and here it says he was absent. The Colts need him, so he’ll play if ready, but coming back from concussions isl always tricky. Check to see what he does Friday.
Jacob Tamme owners rejoice! He was not on the Thursday injury report. Looks like he’s safe to play.
Jahvid Best missed practice on Thursday as he continues to deal with his troublesome toe. See if he practices Friday, but he’ll likely be a GTD on Sunday and hasn’t been all that effective even when playing, and Dallas isn’t terrible against the run. His normal backup Kevin Smith has already been declared out for Week 11. Maurice Morris will get the start in Week 11 if Best can’t go, and he’ll have decent value in 22-27 range simply because the Detroit offense does create scoring opportunities and should be able to move the ball against the Dallas.
