UPDATE: According to the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Mike Singletary's job this week will be to spend two days meeting with and evaluating his players and the next two days doing the same with his coaching staff. Preliminary to those evaluations, he said Alex Smith is his starting quarterback "right now" and "I don't really have a question about the coordinator."
FANTASY IMPACT: One player Singletary should be certain of is TE Vernon Davis. Davis had a breakout season, posting career highs in every statistical category. He was the 49ers' leading receiver and led all NFL tight ends in touchdown grabs. In just his fourth season, Davis is well on his way to becoming one of the NFL’s best tight ends.
