Brewers have to sit back and watch the hated Cardinals play in the World Series, knowing that it could have just as easily been Milwaukee going toe-to-toe with the Texas Rangers. But that doesn’t mean this season was a failure, far from it. This was one of the best season’s in Milwaukee Brewers history.
If you would have told Chris Callaway after the Brewers swept St. Louis in June, that they would be facing the Cardinals with home-field advantage for the right to go to the World Series, he would have shotgunned a celebratory Old Milwaukee right there on the spot. But here we are in that very situation today.
There is a surprising name on the “Stock Up” list this week: Yuniesky Betancourt; but his recent hot streak cannot be ignored. On the flip side, the stock of Royals supposed phenom Mike Moustakas could not be much lower right now (at least for 2011 fantasy purposes).
