The USA Olympic hockey team is one step closer to fulfilling the dream of becoming the world’s greatest after a 2-0 quarterfinal win over Switzerland yesterday afternoon.

It was a very strong showing for the Americans because the Swiss are a team you can never take lightly. They pushed Canada to a shootout. The Swiss are dangerous because they can be a team that can upset any team that is not playing their best.

Lucky for the Americans, they were playing their best.

Ryan Miller has looked dominant the whole Olympics, and yesterday was no exception. Miller faced 19 shots and stopped all of them. Miller wasn’t tested as much, but he saved some early shots that helped the USA in the long run.

Phelps, who is…….Alright….I can’t do this anymore…I’m not Bob Costas…I can’t pretend that I care about the Olympics.

Somebody let me know when the Jamaican Bobsled team comes on.
