Fans of college football who don’t like the NFL are not going to enjoy today’s Friday Football Preview all that much. The reason is that unlike the vast majority of weeks, we don’t talk any college football this week. It’s strictly NFL.
If you want to know why, just look at this week’s college football schedule. It’s putrid. In contrast, the Week 2 NFL schedule has some pretty entertaining matchups in store.
So rather than dwell on a lame weekend of college football I instead dive into two of the most important, compelling games on the Week 2 NFL schedule: the first Patriots-Jets drudge match of the season and the lucky Bears visiting the desperate Cowboys.
