This Sunday, Jerry Rice and five other NFL greats will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, the greatest of honors for a professional football player.
And undoubtedly, if there were a next step up, a Hall of Fame of Hall of Famers so to speak, Jerry Rice would be a first ballot inductee to that group as well (along with his 2010 HoF classmate Emmitt Smith).

Remarkably, it’s a career that might never have happened had Rice not one day played hooky his sophomore year of high school.
