Indiana completed a season sweep of Purdue tonight in Bloomington, securing a 24th victory, 5th place in the Big Ten, and a joyous Senior Night for five very deserving seniors. Afterwards, I stumbled upon this rather hilarious mid-game animated GIF of Hoosier coach Tom Crean.
Verdell Jones, Tom Pritchard, Matt Roth, Daniel Moore, and Kory Barnett were around for all of the carnage. Now, they are ready to take on Purdue with a 24th overall win, an 11th conference win, and 5th place in the Big Ten on the line, in Assembly Hall, on Senior Day. As far as I’m concerned, these five young men deserve as loud an ovation as has ever been given to a group of IU seniors.
On Sunday at 6:00 ET, the 20th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers (23-7, 10-7) close out the regular season when they host the Purdue Boilermakers (20-10, 10-7) on the Big Ten Network.
On Saturday at 7:00 ET, the 20th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers (17-6, 5-6) travel to West Lafayette to take on their arch rivals, the Purdue Boilermakers (15-7, 5-4), on the Big Ten Network.
