Warning: These fantasy football player rankings for Week 11 classify Timmy Tebow as a quarterback, even though it has yet to be proven that he is, in fact, a quarterback.
Proceed with caution.

Here are my updated fantasy football ratings for 2011. Assuming you are in a 10-14 team league, and you must start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and at least 1 flex position, you need to know exactly who is valuable and how their value stacks up in relation to everyone else.
The top ten is always easy. After that, it gets a little messy.

Whether you play full-season fantasy football or the fun, free weekly games that we participate in at FanDuel, when it comes to picking a defense for your fantasy football team this season, just remember one thing: FOUR, NO MORE.
Reach way back into your memory and try and recall something you learned in Economics class: The Law of Opportunity Costs.
The law of opportunity costs states that, “Whenever you spend money on one thing, you are choosing against spending money on something else.” While it may be an incredibly simple concept, many of us often get seduced on draft day into spending way too much on a defense.
The fact is that if you don’t get one of the top four defenses in the league, #5 isn’t better enough than #12 to justify spending the additional money.

The number of elite tight ends has fallen dramatically, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t get great value in later rounds.
If you really want to make a splash in the tight end market, make sure you move early and grab one of the Big Three. However, if you want to wait and try to maximize your value, there are no less than nine fantastic options that can be gotten for the cheap.
Here are your top twelve Tight Ends for 2011, along with some guys on the fringe that are definitely worth keeping an eye on – especially if you already have good feeling about one of them.
These rankings from Tuesday of Week 10. Check out our updated Week 10 rankings, posted Friday.
My waiver wire sleepers for Week 10 are posted, as are Ryan’s sleeper picks. I also posted my start em, sit em projections for Week 10 earlier this morning.
That means there is only one thing left to get up here on another busy fantasy football Tuesday morning: the weekly rankings.
Only four teams are on bye this week, as opposed to six the last two weeks, so the player poor is a big larger. That should be helpful for the astute managers out there, especially as the stakes get higher and the injuries stack up.
Okay, I waited a little longer than usual to post the final rankings this week. There are so many up-in-the-air injury situations (namely in the Indy backfield) that I wanted to get as much information as possible.
Make sure you join us for our Sunday morning live chat to get all of your last minute start/sit questions answered. Also check out this week’s start ‘em, sit ‘em post and my Week 8 waiver wire pickups if you still need more info as you set your Week 8 lineups.
I typically weekly rankings on Monday or Tuesday every week. Over the next 72 hours, there is always injury and strategy information that becomes available that impacts my view of players. So I try to post updated rankings on Friday or Saturday to reflect those changes.
Here is this week’s Friday injury update and below are my updated rankings for Week 6.
While preparing to answer another wave of questions in the comment section of my Week 5 start em, sit em post, the lightbulb of inspiration flickered above my head.
I spend so much time answering similar questions about similar players, that I might as well consolidate some of those answers into posts.
Don’t worry, I’ll still answer your comments directly. But for the myriad people who are interested in Steve Slaton, Rashard Mendenhall, Jerome Harrison, Knowshon Moreno, and Glenn Coffee in Week 5 — many of whom seem to be faced with the task of choosing between two or three of them for starting spots — this post should help.
Here are my quick hit Week 5 rankings for these five players this week, plus some explanation.
