Upon taking an innocent stroll down the Reddit front page tonight I happened upon a headline that read “Look who I found in my mom’s old high school yearbook.” Naturally curious, I clicked on the link, and who do I find at said link but everyone’s favorite sports curmudgeon Anthony “Tony” Kornheiser.
I think several websites made a mistake posting a video claiming to be ESPN anchor Stan Verrett saying the N-word on air. It sure didn’t sound like it to me.
In the latest edition of The Bottoms Line, Andy Bottoms previews and predicts each game on the schedule for ESPN’s fourth tip-off marathon, which begins tonight at midnight and features 19 men’s games spanning roughly 25 hours.

Unless I missed it, and I don’t think that I did, the overnight SportsCenter (the one that ESPN airs thrice on Saturday morning between the time when my children wake me up and the time that SpongeBob SquarePants starts) made no mention of Winnipeg choosing a name for its new NHL team.
