Since the Giants and Packers met in the regular season, each team has lost just one game, but the prevailing public opinion is that the Giants are playing their best football of the season and have as good a chance as anyone to knock off the top-seeded Packers this season. While that is certainly a possibility, New York will have to play extremely well in a number of facets of the game.
In the hours following the Broncos-Steelers game, armchair numerologists and symbologists mobbed the Internet, presenting evidence of God’s presence in Tebow’s performance and identifying other 316s. The second set of games on Wild Card Weekend starts off with a great matchup, as the Atlanta Falcons are going on the road to face the New York Giants. The Saints easily defeated the Lions yesterday, so the winner of this game is heading into Lambeau to take on the 15-1 Packers.
Since their bye week in week 7, the Giants have lost two of the four games and need to win this one to keep the pressure on the Cowboys. With the Saints coming off a bye week and playing at home, they are going to be tough to beat.
