Saying Goodbye to Former Blackhawks is Not Easy

Like many other great sports cities, the fans fall in love with their favorite teams’ players.

Chicago is no different.

Watching the Hawks, whether it be live or on TV, fans feel some kind of connection to the players. It’s that weird feeling like you know the player and are friends with him.

Watching a Blackahawk game is like watching your friends play. You cheer for them to do well, and when they mess up you easily forgive and forget. At the end of the day, whether the team wins or losses that day, you’re all still friends.

That’s what makes Chicago fans such great sports fans. They not only have a passion for the game, but a passion for the players too.

So when I started to see player after player from the Hawks’ Stanley Cup winning team get sent away to another team, I seriously was saddened by it.

It’s Time for the Annual “Circus” Road Trip for Hawks

It’s that time of year again for the Chicago Blackhawks.

If you are a Hawks fan you know exactly what I mean. This is the time of the year when the Circus comes into Chicago, forcing both the Bulls and Blackhawks to go on a 2-week road trip.

The Hawks go into their 2-week road trip confident after winning four straight games. They sit at the 3rd spot in their conference and 1st in their division.
