Sponsored Post: Tony’s Pizza a Great Choice for March Madness Munching

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Tony’s Pizza. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was recently given the opportunity to indulge in some free samples of Tony’s Pizza. For those unfamiliar with Tony’s, it is a brand of frozen pizza available in most major grocery stores.

For the record, I’ve never been a big frozen pizza guy. I’m typically partial to delivery. However, living the life of a budgeted blogging bachelor compels me every so often (read: every night) to desire a convenient, cost-effective dinner option.

Enter: Tony’s Pizza.

crispy-crust-tonysI used a couple of my free sample coupons to pick up a supreme and a cheese pizza. While prepping MSF for our huge Selection Sunday traffic spike, I popped the supreme pizza in the oven and waited patiently for what I hoped would be tasty goodness some 15 minutes later.

And tasty goodness it indeed turned out to me.

The crust was perfectly crispy…not burnt or hard. The pizza itself tasted surprisingly good. Plus, it wasn’t that heavy. I know that I can probably eat more than most in a single sitting, but I polished off the entire thing over the court of about 45 minutes, feeling good and full afterwards. (This suggests that a normal person would probably feel good an satiated after 3-4 slices, making it perfect for two people to share.)

With sports fans everywhere currently in the throes of March Madness, I assume that lots of pizza is being ordered all across the country. Variety is the spice of life, so I would never recommend to anyone that you do only Tony’s Pizza or only delivery or only any other single kind or type. Mix it up. But definitely grab one or Tony’s Pizzas the next time you’re at the store.

Sometimes you don’t want to wait 45 minutes to an hour and pay $25-30 bucks for pizza. When that day rolls around, you’ll be ready to pop a Tony’s Pizza in the oven and enjoy it a short time later. (For me, that will most likely be tomorrow while downing a cold one and watching some basketball.)
