Whitney Houston was a powerful singer and although I dont't consider her the greatest, she certainly was part of my growing up years too.  A very talented singer who appealed globally.  Both her and MJ had troubles in their life, which I guess is quite the trend amongst famous artists - Elvis, John Lennon, Freddie M, and the list  goes on. Pure guilt.  A person wins the lottery the day they're born in America.  Judge a nation by how many want to get IN rather than out. Good piece.
