Mike Stanton continues to hit homers, but Royals Mike Moustakas really caught fire after being injured to start the season. There is talk of a possible promotion to AAA for both players very soon.
Arizona Diamondbacks #1 Pick Marc Krauss is pushing for a promotion to AA and was one of the top bats in the draft last year.
Wilmer Flores and Mike Trout continue to be the class of Low A on the hitting side and could be receiving mid season promotions.
A great group of arms in the Low A minors right now, with many top 2009 draft picks making a name. Shelby Miller and Jacob Turner are players who could provide a return in just two years.
Randall Delgado was a player I was targeting last year at this time and he is really starting to come on with the Braves. A promotion to AA could be in his future, but he is still very young.
Most of these arms will have a fantasy impact in 2011; top arms are dynasty caliber and should be owned. Mike Montgomery was recently promoted; Perez and Pineda are potential front line starters as soon as 2012.
Here are some of the top pitchers who are currently pitching in AAA and are, theoretically, the closest to being able to help your fantasy teams.
