After a grueling Championship Week, Andy Bottoms unveils his final bracket projections.

Thursday was filled with overtime games and upsets, which led to quite a bit of movement at the bottom of the Andy Bottoms’ latest bracket projections. Based on some of the matchups on Friday, the same thing could happen again, and interestingly enough, some of the teams that lost earlier in the week seem to be the benefiting from sitting back and watching other bubble teams lose.

A dozen teams have now punched their tickets to the Big Dance, and Championship Week is off to a great start thanks to a number of close finishes, including multiple overtime thrillers. As things start to heat up in the major conference tournaments, look for plenty of movement within the last few spots given a seemingly endless supply of teams with mediocre profiles.

With just two weeks until Selection Sunday, the at-large situation is as fluid as it’s been in recent years. Very few bubble teams have seized the opportunity to impress the committee by picking up a late-season signature win, which in a year like this would all but cement a bid. As it stands, we have a fairly large pool of relatively unimpressive profiles from which to choose, making this weekly exercise a challenge once again for resident Bracketologist Andy Bottoms.

It is now under a month until the field of 68 is announced, and the at-large selections are starting to stabilize with just two new teams in this week’s projected field. However, a number of losses by ranked teams and tournament hopefuls last week did lead to some fluctuation in terms of seeding in Andy Bottoms’ latest NCAA Tournament bracket predictions.

Following the best weekend of the season so far in college hoops, there are a number of changes in Andy Bottoms’ weekly bracket projections. Even with more information on each team, handing out the last few at-large bids has still proven to be a crapshoot where you can make a case for or against virtually every squad on the bubble.
