UFC 176 Canceled after injury to Jose Aldo

UFC 176 was set to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on August 2, but on Tuesday the company was forced to cancel the event. Thanks to an injury to featherweight champion Jose Aldo, the UFC couldn’t replace the main event on such short notice and decided to cut its losses. It is the second time Zuffa (which owns the organization) has been forced to cancel a major event on short notice.
