Asante Samuel thinks the front office in Philly is playing fantasy football; maybe they are, maybe they aren’t, but those guys do know how to put up numbers…and there is a new face from that squad who we would like you to give a chance to come Sunday night. From rookies to vets, we have it all in this week’s Stock Report.

Week 7 of the fantasy football season will featured a number of newcomer QBs who have been thrust into starting roles. Though you shouldn’t hold your breath waiting for Christian Ponder to make headlines in Minnesota, we’ve got other names to know (like Jay Cutler) for you in this week’s Stock Report.

If you are itching to see how Tim Tebow is going to follow up his breakthrough game in Week 5, then you are going to have to wait until next week, but if you want to learn about the fantasy football prospects of Daniel Thomas, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Matt Schaub, Reggie Wayne, and others, check out the Week 6 stock report.

If there is any advice you can take from this week’s hitting planner it is this: whatever got you to this point, don’t rely on it 100% to finish your year out. Too many variables can make a matchup swing one way or another with just one guy missing action so pay close attention to this week’s hitting planner.

A lot of players that you are used to seeing in starting lineups will not being seeing as much playing time as they once did now that their teams are out of the race and younger players can be rotated in. This is when the real work comes in for you the manager. It can be tedious so just hang in there and let the hitting planner do the work for you.

Unlike any other sport, baseball is the one where failing 7 out of 10 times can make you a Hall of Fame caliber player. This is why it is so important to recognize who’s hot, who’s not, and catch guys when it benefits you the most. And as always, that’s what we are going to point out to you in this week’s hitting planner.
Thanks! We appreciate it.
