It’s just about that time my NBA crowd. Well, actually it’s well past ‘that’ time due to the foolishness experienced during this past off-season.

All of that is well behind us now, and since the lockout ended there have been numerous signings, trades, and a mess of pre-season games already played. All this can only mean that the NBA season is right around the corner, and it’s time to finally rank each team appropriately from top to bottom.

NBA Rumors: Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, the Lakers, and more

dwight-howard-chris-paul-nba-rumors

It’s been a while since I’ve hit the ‘net with an article, but I’m glad to say I’m back for good…

Just as long as there isn’t another lockout anytime soon people.

We can all agree that the NBA lockout was a time of confusion, anger, and uncertainty for the league we all know and love, but thankfully David Stern and Co. have found a way to get this season underway with a 66-game schedule; which is better than nothing, right?

With the season beginning on Christmas Day, there is a short time for training camps, free agency, and for teams to tune up their rosters to their liking; and as always, there are rumors flying around all over the place. I’ve heard some pathetic ones, but I’ve also heard a few legit ones. Care to know what is true and what is not? I’ve got you covered!

Mavericks take their talents back to Dallas with a trophy, leave plenty of lessons to be learned for the team in South Beach

dirk3

In the 2006 NBA Finals, the Dallas Mavericks found themselves up two games on the Miami Heat, only needing two more in order to claim the franchise’s first ever NBA championship. Dirk Nowitzki was ready to make his first step into NBA greatness, Avery Johnson was beginning to look like a mad genius, and Mark Cuban was ready to add a title to his jerkish personality.

For Dirk, LeBron, and D-Wade, Legacies On The Line

dirk-lebron

For LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, and for Dirk Nowitzki as well, it’s time to write the concluding words in one more chapter of each of their legacies.

With a much scrutinized off-season long gone and an uphill battle of a regular season now behind them, the Miami Heat find themselves on the brink in the NBA Finals. And this isn’t just any ordinary NBA Finals, because there is way more on the line than an NBA championship.

Video: LeBron & Dwyane Wade Mock Dirk’s Sinus Infection

Before Game 5, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade decided to have a little fun with Dirk Nowitzki’s reported sinus infection and high body temps before and during Game 4.

It didn’t turn out so well for them after losing Game 5, and Wade getting injured, but here’s the video:

This Is All About The Dallas Mavericks

jason-terry-dirk-nowitzki

The Dallas Mavericks won last night’s Game 5. Again let me repeat that: the Dallas Mavericks won last night’s Game 5 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

In an NBA Finals series that features the much-hated Miami Heat, with their cast that includes of one of the NBA’s best ever trios in LeBron, Wade, and Bosh, any time Miami loses it is projected as being of their own doing. It is a continuing trend of LeBron James had a bad game or Dwyane Wade was injured or Chris Bosh played soft.

So it’s time to give the Mavericks the credit they deserve.

LeBron’s Time To Shine Is Now

lebron-james

It’s quite clear with the stats he left out on the court that LeBron James didn’t show up in Game 4 of these NBA Finals:  Eight points on 3-of-11 shooting, 0-for-3 from deep, and 50% from the charity stripe.

Clearly these aren’t numbers of a legend, nor are they numbers of a LeBron James we are accustomed to watching.
