New Gameday/Tailgate Snack Idea: Popcorn Chips by Popcorn, Indiana

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Popcorn, Indiana for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Over the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Washington Redskins in the final game of the regular season, ensuring another playoff-less season for the Cowboys.

Tony Romo laid another egg in a big game, throwing three picks, including one late that is among the worst throws I’ve ever seen a quarterback make in a big moment.

So needless to say, my Cowboys fan friends here in Dallas were none to pleased with the result.

But hey, at least there were fun, tasty snacks to eat and distract from the putrid football!

In particular, I am speaking of the Chip’Ins all natural popcorn chips by Popcorn, Indiana.

We were sent a sample to try, and we decided to use last night as the occasion to try them out. Having never had “popcorn chips” before, I think everyone was a bit apprehensive.

But it only took a few bites to realize they were pretty delicious.

He sure enjoyed them, even with the Cowboys imploding on national TV.

And, as a bonus, popcorn chips have zero trans fat, they are gluten free, they are a great source of whole grains, and they are not particularly calorie dense. That makes them a pretty good alternative to normal chips.

I say give them a try. You can even make them extra good with your favorite dip, perhaps some salsa, maybe some cheese. However you normally eat chips, just substitute in popcorn chips. I bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how good they are too.
