Week 6 NFL Viewer’s and Bettor’s Guide

TV Schedule – Kickoff Times – Point Spreads – Picks

Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

  • Steelers-Titans Date: Thursday, October 11
  • Steelers-Titans Kickoff Time: 8:20 PM
  • Steelers-Titans TV Network: NFL Network
  • Steelers-Titans Point Spread: Steelers -6.5
  • Steelers-Titans Over-Under Odds: 43.5
  • Steelers-Titans Pick: The Steelers are coming off a last-second win over Philadelphia last week to improve to 2-2. The Titans are continuing to be nearly nonexistent on offense, and that will continue on into this game against Pittsburgh. Steelers -6.5

Oakland Raiders at Atlanta Falcons

  • Raiders-Falcons Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Raiders-Falcons Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Raiders-Falcons TV Network: CBS
  • Raiders-Falcons Point Spread: Falcons -9
  • Raiders-Falcons Over-Under Odds: 48.5
  • Raiders-Falcons Pick: The Falcons, along with the Texans, are one of the two unbeaten teams left in the NFL. They are the best team in the NFC, but it will be interesting to see if they can continue to play at this pace. The Raiders had a bye week last week, which followed a devastating 37-6 loss against the Broncos. The spread is large in this game, but it is certainly warranted. Falcons -9

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns

  • Bengals-Browns Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Bengals-Browns Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Bengals-Browns TV Network: CBS
  • Bengals-Browns Point Spread: Bengals -3
  • Bengals-Browns Over-Under Odds: 44
  • Bengals-Browns Pick: These two teams have already met once this season, with the Bengals taking the game 34-27. The spread may seem low considering the Browns are 0-5 on the season, but they have been competitive in nearly every game. While that is the case, the Bengals will easily cover this spread. Bengals -3

St. Louis Rams at Miami Dolphins

  • Rams-Dolphins Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Rams-Dolphins Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Rams-Dolphins TV Network: FOX
  • Rams-Dolphins Point Spread: Dolphins -3.5
  • Rams-Dolphins Over-Under Odds: 38
  • Rams-Dolphins Pick: The Dolphins are 2-3 on the year, but two of those losses have come in overtime games. Ryan Tannehill has been playing much better than many may have expected. The Rams are 3-2 on the year and have beaten the Seahawks and Cardinals in their last two games. The Dolphins are the favorite at home, but look for the Rams to take this game. Rams +3.5

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets

  • Colts-Jets Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Colts-Jets Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Colts-Jets TV Network: CBS
  • Colts-Jets Point Spread: Jets -3
  • Colts-Jets Over-Under Odds: 43
  • Colts-Jets Pick: The Jets come in as favorites in this game, but that should go to the Colts after last week. Andrew Luck led a game-winning drive to defeat the Packers in an emotional game for Indy, considering they are playing for their head coach Chuck Pagano, who is currently hospitalized due to his leukemia. The Colts will win this game, and the Jets will continue to question if they are falling apart. Colts +3

Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles

  • Lions-Eagles Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Lions-Eagles Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Lions-Eagles TV Network: FOX
  • Lions-Eagles Point Spread: Eagles -4
  • Lions-Eagles Over-Under Odds: 47.5
  • Lions-Eagles Pick: The Lions started off the season with a win over St. Louis, but have lost three straight games since. They are coming off a bye week, which came after a loss to the surprising 4-1 Vikings. The Eagles dropped a last second loss to the Steelers last Sunday, and are now 3-2, which still leaves them tied for the lead in the NFC East. They will cover this small spread and defeat the Lions. Eagles -4

Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Chiefs-Bucs Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Chiefs-Bucs Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Chiefs-Bucs TV Network: CBS
  • Chiefs-Bucs Point Spread: Bucs -4
  • Chiefs-Bucs Over-Under Odds: 40
  • Chiefs-Bucs Pick: Both teams come in with one win apiece on the year, but they are very different teams. The Chiefs have been inconsistent all season, with their only win coming against the 1-4 Saints. The Bucs are 1-3, but their largest margin of defeat was 7 points. They will show why they are favorites and win this game. Bucs -4

Dallas Cowboys at Baltimore Ravens

  • Cowboys-Ravens Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Cowboys-Ravens Kickoff Time: 1 PM
  • Cowboys-Ravens TV Network: FOX
  • Cowboys-Ravens Point Spread: Ravens -4
  • Cowboys-Ravens Over-Under Odds: 44
  • Cowboys-Ravens Pick: The Ravens won their fourth game of the season last year, which could have easily been their fifth if not for a one-point loss in Week 2. They won 9-6 over the Chiefs, which gave them their third consecutive single-digit win in a row. The Cowboys are coming off their bye week, which followed a 16-point loss to the Bears. While they are having a solid season, the Ravens are too good to drop this game. Ravens -4

Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals

  • Bills-Cardinals Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Bills-Cardinals Kickoff Time: 4:05 PM
  • Bills-Cardinals TV Network: CBS
  • Bills-Cardinals Point Spread: Cardinals -5
  • Bills-Cardinals Over-Under Odds: 43.5
  • Bills-Cardinals Pick: The Bills are 2-3 on the season, but that is very deceiving. Their last two losses are by a combined 66 points, which ballooned after last week’s 45-3 loss to San Francisco. The Cardinals lost their first game of the season last Thursday against the Rams, but they will get back to their winning ways on Sunday. Cardinals -5

New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks

  • Patriots-Seahawks Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Patriots-Seahawks Kickoff Time: 4:05 PM
  • Patriots-Seahawks TV Network: CBS
  • Patriots-Seahawks Point Spread: Patriots -4
  • Patriots-Seahawks Over-Under Odds: 45
  • Patriots-Seahawks Pick: The Seahawks have been playing solid all season, and are coming off a win over Carolina last week. They have the same 3-2 record as the Patriots, but Seattle has struggled to score points all year. The Patriots do not have these issues, which is why they will take this game in Seattle. Patriots -4

New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers

  • Giants-49ers Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Giants-49ers Kickoff Time: 4:25 PM
  • Giants-49ers TV Network: FOX
  • Giants-49ers Point Spread: 49ers -6.5
  • Giants-49ers Over-Under Odds: 46
  • Giants-49ers Pick: The NFC Championship rematch takes place in the same stadium where the original game took place. Both teams continue to be among the best in the NFC, as they were last year. The 49ers’ last two wins are by a combined 79-3, which just proves how dominant they are on both sides of the ball. The 49ers should win this game, but will not cover this 6.5-point spread. Giants +6.5

Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins

  • Vikings-Redskins Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Vikings-Redskins Kickoff Time: 4:25 PM
  • Vikings-Redskins TV Network: FOX
  • Vikings-Redskins Point Spread: N/A
  • Vikings-Redskins Over-Under Odds: N/A
  • Vikings-Redskins Pick: Odds and pick will be given when they are announced.

Green Bay Packers at Houston Texans

  • Packers-Texans Date: Sunday, October 14
  • Packers-Texans Kickoff Time: 8:20 Pm
  • Packers-Texans TV Network: NBC
  • Packers-Texans Point Spread: Texans -3
  • Packers-Texans Over-Under Odds: 48
  • Packers-Texans Pick: The Texans come in as the only 5-0 team remaining in the AFC, and are easily the top Super Bowl contender in the league. The Packers were last year’s top regular season team, but that led to losing their first playoff game to the Giants. The Packers lost to the inspired Colts last week, which gave them their third loss of the year. They have no shot to get a win in Houston this Sunday, and will record their fourth loss. Texans -3

Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers

  • Broncos-Chargers Date: Monday, October 15
  • Broncos-Chargers Kickoff Time: 8:30 PM
  • Broncos-Chargers TV Network: ESPN
  • Broncos-Chargers Point Spread: Chargers -1.5
  • Broncos-Chargers Over-Under Odds: 50
  • Broncos-Chargers Pick: The Chargers come in at 3-2 and are at the top of the AFC West, one game ahead of the Broncos. Both teams are coming off losses, with the Chargers giving the Saints their first victory of the season. This spread is fairly close, but it looks like the Broncos will pull through and make it a tie at the top of the division. Broncos +1.5

Last Week: 6-8

Yearly Record: 34-40-3
