I just stumbled upon this video over at Reddit after seeing the title “A noble sport that deserves more attention.”
Needless to say, I did not get what I expected.
Below is a video for cheese rolling, which is an actual sport with real history and tradition:
Every year daring competitors throw themselves down a death-defyingly steep hill in Gloucestershire, England, in a bid to win a coveted Double Gloucester cheese, and this year’s event was no different – with a number of competitors incurring injuries. Local cheese rolling legend Chris Anderson won 2 of the 5 races on the day, and can be seen in the video sporting his usual bright green top and flying past the camera.
Everything about that description is hilarious, because it’s true. Just watch. (Note: my favorite part is the 0:53 mark when someone shouts “GET THE CHEESE!”)
Do they have cheese rolling tournaments in Wisconsin? If not, why? Seems like it would be perfect for the cheese-loving folks up there.

The best part of this one is the 0:38 mark when some guy dressed like Austin Powers comes sprinting out of the left corner of the screen before wiping out.
