Pine Tar or Poopy Pants: What Is Your All-Time Favorite George Brett Moment?

Yesterday was the anniversary of one of the most iconic video images in the history of Major League Baseball: the Pine Tar Incident.

Recall the details:

Now recall the fury of George Brett’s bombastic emergence from the dugout, which every baseball fan has seen at least, oh, about 100,000 times:

But is the Pine Tar Incident the greatest George Brett moment of all time?

Before you hastily say Yes, duh!!!, remember that among George Brett’s many accomplishments, in addition to being in the Hall of Fame and renowned as one of the greatest third basemen of all time, is that he is the man most proud of having crapped his pants.

If you haven’t ever seen this video, you really need to watch it. (Just be forewarned that the language is a bit profane, as you might expect.)

My favorite line: “I’m good twice a year for that.” And then he asks the guy when the last time he soiled himself was, as if it’s a regular occurrence for all guys. (Is it? Because if so I’m apparently S.O.L.)

And, of course, there is an autotuned remix version of this video.

In an uncertain world, the Internet always delivers.

But now the question: what is your all-time favorite George Brett moment? Clearly there can be only two options. Pine tar or poopy pants…what’s it gonna be?
