Yesterday the greatest QB to ever set foot on a football filed visited the historic and definitely-not-in-need-of-a -renovation Wrigley Field to throw out the first pitch and sing the classic song Take Me Out to the Ball Game.
As expected, Cutler impressed many Cubs fans with his 95 mph fastball that sources said made Cubs play-by-play man Len Kasper exclaim “Wow, that was fast.”
Just look at that form! 75 percent of the Cubs pitching staff doesn’t have as good as form as Cutler does.
And look at the slicked back hair! Plus the khaki shorts with the signature wallet outline, the blank and black stare of the eyes, and the two-seam fastball grip that makes most batters cringe. It’s both frightening and beautiful at the same time.
And Cutler wasn’t done just yet.
He was invited up to the broadcast booth with Len and Bob to sing during the seventh inning stretch.
It’s not often Cubs fans see a successful player visit their confines.
Jay Cutler, I salute you.
Thank you for bring your dominance and badassery to Wrigley Field. Now report to training camp and make Aaron Rodgers cringe.
