Mark Cuban Annihilating Skip Bayless on First Take Was So Good, It Deserves a Second Post

Did anyone else watch the video Jerod posted of Mark Cuban obliterating Skip Bayless Friday morning on ESPN2?

Wow.

I abhor Skip Bayless and his idiotic rants that seem to, as Cuban noted, include no stats or facts but just generalities.

Cubes also tore into Bayless for saying the Thunder didn’t want it as much as the Heat and that Kevin Durant didn’t play hard enough.

“That’s just ridiculous. When you are at the close out game, nobody wants it more,” he said. “It’s just a question of who executes better.”

Bayless continued in his moronic tirade about how the Heat, particularly LeBron, “played harder” than KD and the Thunder. Cuban dismissed that as ridiculous as well and said it was the stupidest thing any sports writer has ever said.

Bayless then alluded to Dallas winning the title last year because LeBron was bad in the late stages of the game, giving absolutely NO credit to the Mavs. Cuban countered and said they played a variety of defenses, to which Bayless replied LBJ just stood out on the perimeter. Cuban retorted, “Why do you think he was out there? We played him a certain way.”

Bayless seemed resolute to insist the Heat lost and the Mavs didn’t win it and Cuban called him out. The best part is when Cubes says, “You assume people care what you have to say, but they don’t.” Awesome.

If Skip Bayless cared about anything more than a paycheck, and actually wanted to be a respected journalist or media member he would have fought back more vehemently. Unfortunately for all of us, he doesn’t and is a joke as far as I am concerned.

Nice work Cuban. We all salute you.
