Call to the Bullpen MLB Podcast: Is Kevin Youkilis the Second City Solution?

In the first major trade of the 2012 MLB season, the Chicago White Sox traded Zach Stewart and Brent Lillibridge to the Boston Red Sox for the services of Kevin Youkilis.

Seizing the opportunity, Corey and I decided to have the boss man, Jerod Morris, on to talk about how this deal will affect Chicago and to go into greater detail of what exactly the BoSox are getting in return.

We also touch on Chris Sale, Addison Reed, and Jerod makes both Corey and I say something nice about Alex Rios. Seriously.

If, for whatever reason, that didn’t stoke your passions to listen, take a look at what else is on deck:

  • What will the Yankees do without Sabathia and Pettitte?
  • Colby Lewis is the latest Rangers pitcher to be injured
  • Is Zach Greinke on the trading block? Who’s asking about him?
  • Jamie Moyer head to Toronto
  • What pressure falls on Will Middlebrooks now?
  • Carlos Ruiz is having a career year that no one is talking about.
  • Is Colby Rasmus back?
  • Jim Thome wants Papelbon’s money
  • Chase Utley returns!
  • Trevor Bauer debuts Thursday!
  • Marlon Byrd faces suspension
  • Nyjer Morgan should face suspension
  • Jhonny Perralta’s face
  • Aroldis Chpman’s gymnastic prowess

All this, plus the Games of the Weekend.
