Donald Driver Is DWTS Champion…Now Should He Stay or Go as an NFL Wide Receiver?

37-year old Donald Driver has the most receiving yards in the storied history of the Green Bay Packers.

Should there be more yards added to that total?

Driver is deeply loved by Packers fans, which was evident when they helped lead him to winning Dancing with the Stars.

But could the impact on the team of Driver staying be more negative than positive?

His season totals have decreased dramatically over the past few years, yet he is still paid like a top performing athlete. Fortunately though, he has agreed to a salary reduction.

With star receiver Greg Jennings and emerging stars Jordy Nelson and NFL rookie of the year Randall Cobb, Driver is getting outplayed.

But he has an advantage over other players: he is old.

With age comes wisdom and savvy…and also the assumption of poor performance. Driver could actually prove to be an underrated player who is too often left covered by a linebacker or backup defensive back. He is still an athletic player, so when he is poorly defended he can be a useful weapon that stealthy Aaron Rodgers can utilize.

Does Donald Driver have one more Super Bowl season left in him?

Or, should he hang up the cleats and the cheesehead to relax by the ocean next to his new Mirror Ball trophy?

Only time will tell.
