The White Sox have a roster stocked with veterans (some of them famously overpaid). Yet I just counted and, at the ripe old age of 30, I am now older than 16 of 25 players on the roster. This was a bit jarring.
This simple act, more than perhaps any other since I turned 30 last July, just put my age into perspective for me.
