Video: Danilo Gallinari Defends Fast Break By Hanging On Rim

With one minute remaining in last night’s Nuggets-Cavaliers game, the Cavs (who trailed by one point) stole the ball and started the fast break. Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari found himself alone in the paint against the Cavs’ Kyrie Irving and Alonzo Gee.

Rather than try to stop one or the other, Gallinari did the only logical thing: he swung from the rim like a second grader on the monkey bars.

Gallinari’s peculiar defense didn’t stop Gee from getting an easy dunk.

The Cavs ended up winning 100-99.
