According to sources speaking with ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen, Peyton Manning visited the Denver Broncos Friday.
The sources are just as quick to point out that this initial visit to Denver should not be construed to mean it makes Denver the favorite, far from it, as up to 12 teams have inquired about the services of the 35-year old free agent.
One team that would seem to fit in with Manning is the Arizona Cardinals.
The attraction of Pro Bowl WR Larry Fitzgerald, warm weather home games making for optimal conditions to throw in (as was the case in Indianapolis), and the possibility of bringing along former teammate Reggie Wayne would instantly upgrade Arizona’s offense and make them a contender not only in the NFC West, but for the NFC title. Don’t rule the Cardinals out.
