March Madness 2012: Printable Brackets For NCAA Tournament

Do you realize we less than 8 days from Selection Sunday?

Seriously. Check the March Madness 2012 schedule. 7 days and a few hours from now, we’ll all be on pins and needles as Greg Gumbel and the CBS crew get ready to reveal this year’s field of 68.

I get giddy with excitement just thinking about it, especially since my Hoosiers will be in the field this year.

During this final week before Selection Sunday, it can be fun to try to predict who will be included in the field and who will be left out. Our very own Andy Bottoms does it every week in his bracketology column, and he will be doing it damn near every day over the next week.

If you’d like to work on your own bracketology, it can help to have a printable bracket handy. The folks over at ESPN have a couple of handy printable NCAA Tournament brackets ready-made for you to use. Download them here:

And as you fill them in remember:

  • The First Four will determine the final 12 seed and the final 16 seed.
  • The seed matchups for the 2nd games are, as always: 1 v 16, 2 v 15, 3 v 14, 4 v 13, 5 v 12, 6 v 11, 7 v 10, 8 v 9
  • These conferences all get automatic bids.

Happy bracketing. Hey, at least something to keep you occupied until the Madness truly begins next Sunday.
