March Madness 2012: Daily Schedule For Championship Week Through Selection Sunday

It’s Championship Week.

ESPN likes to put silly names on weeks during the regular season – Rivalry Week and Judgment Week and blah, blah blah – but Championship Week fits, for the most part, because this week will be defined by which teams can navigate their conference tournaments to take home championships and the automatic bids they carry with them.

And that’s why I say “for the most part” because I consider the true league champions to be the ones who navigated the regular season and ended up with the best record over a couple of months playing games home and away, not over a weekend at a neutral floor.

So it should really be called Conference Tournament Championship Week to be accurate, because the current name seems to disregard the regular season champions already crowned. But that’s quite a mouthful, so I can see why it it must simply by Championship Week.

Regardless, below is the daily schedule for Championship Week all the way through Selection Sunday, which is now this Sunday. Hell yes.
