The race was postponed one day, to today, February 27th, and it will start at 12:00 ET.
Update: The race was just postponed again. It is now scheduled to start at 7:00 ET.
On what TV channel can I watch the postponed Daytona 500?
The postponed Daytona 500 will still be televised on FOX, as it was originally scheduled to be televised yesterday.
Can I watch the postponed Daytona 500 online?
You most certainly can, and for those of you at work, as opposed to the nurturing Sunday bosoms of your couch, you may have to. (Update: but hey, now that the race was postponed until tonight, you can probably still watch from your couch! Woo-hoo!)
NASCAR.com offers live streaming of NASCAR events. Unfortunately, it does look like you have to pay, but they offer a 14-day free trial, so as long as you remember to cancel, you should be okay.
What is the forecast for today’s Daytona running?
Well, this is the tricky part: it’s not good.
According to weather.com, there is an 80% chance of rain today.
If today’s race gets postponed, it will be pushed back until Tuesday. The weather looks much more agreeable then, with only a 20% chance of rain in the Daytona Beach area.
