Jimmy Fallon Spoofs Pearl Jam, Performs “Jeremy (Lin)”

Jimmy Fallon joined the “Linsanity” craze last night in his show by spoofing Pearl Jam’s legendary hit song “Jeremy”…with a Jeremy Lin twist.

Fallon has done this a few times before, spoofing  Neil Young and David Bowie.

Pearl Jam is my favorite band (if you’re not a Pearl Jam fan then I question what you’re doing in your life), so when I saw Fallon tweet this:

…my curiosity got the best of me.

The first thought that popped into my head was that Pearl Jam was performing on Jimmy Fallon, but that didn’t make sense because I would’ve known about this. The fact that Fallon mentioned the New York Knicks alongside Pearl also confused me because everyone knows Eddie Vedder is a big Chicago sports fan.

Boy, was I happily surprised. Pearl Jam did not perform, but Fallon’s emulation of Eddie Vedder was very enjoyable to watch.
