Chevrolet Super Bowl 46 Commercial – ‘Best Gift Ever’ Video and Review

Another car company strikes it big with a hilarious ad.  This time, it’s Chevrolet with a graduate who gets very excited about his graduation gift, only his parents can’t bear to tell him the truth.

Here is the video:

Chevy really nailed this one.

The graduate reacts about like I would when he thinks he got a bright yellow new Camaro for his graduation present.  The parents are really to blame though, because you couldn’t pick a worse spot to put that mini-fridge.  Plus, a blindfold for a gift like that?  They should buy him a Lamborghini just for being so misleading.

The graduate does a good job of going sufficiently berserk during the commercial, so high marks for that.  The jogger was downright hilarious too (“Hey jogger! slayed me).  I do question the graduate’s engagement, though.  I would think a young, single guy would want to use that car to his advantage for at least a little while.  Plus, once he’s married and has some kids he would have to sell it and get a minivan.

One thing I can’t shake while watching this commercial is the uneven ratio of hotness between the guy’s parents.  The mom is pretty attractive for a mom, and it seems like the dad must have really married out of his league.

  1. Thanks for another informative blog. Where else could I get that type of information written in such an ideal way? I’ve a project that I am just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.

  2. I have realized some new points from your web page about pcs. Another thing I have always imagined is that computers have become a product that each family must have for most reasons. They provide convenient ways in which to organize homes, pay bills, shop, study, focus on music and in many cases watch tv programs. An innovative technique to complete all of these tasks has been a notebook. These personal computers are mobile ones, small, robust and lightweight.

  3. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?

  4. It can be near unattainable to encounter well-qualified visitors on this subject, nevertheless you seem like you understand the things you’re talking about! With Thanks

  7. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  8. Please let me know if you’re looking for a article author for your blog. You have some really great articles and I believe I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really like to write some articles for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please send me an email if interested. Cheers!
